How to Add an Admin on Telegram using iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the ‘Telegram’ app. It is usually on the home screen.
  2. Tap on the group in which you want to add an admin.
  3. Tap on the group’s photo at the top-right corner of the group screen.
  4. Tap ‘Edit’ on the top-left side.
  5. Tap on ‘Add Admins’.
  6. Select the person from the list of group members. If you want, then you can select more than one person.
  7. Tap ‘Done’ from the top-right corner of the screen.

Now, the selected person is also the admin of the group.

How to Add an Admin on Telegram using an Android

  1. Open the ‘Telegram’ app. It is usually in the app drawer or on the home screen.
  2. Tap on the group in which you want to add an admin.
  3. Tap on the name of the group at the top of the screen.
  4. Tap on ‘Set Admins’ from the options.
  5. Tap and select the person you want to make an admin.
  6. Now, tap the ‘Check Mark’ at the top-right corner of the screen.

The selected person is also the admin of the group.

How to Add an Admin on Telegram on Mac or Pc

  1. Open the ‘Telegram’ app. In Mac, it should be in the Application folder and in Windows PC it will be on the Start menu.
  2. Click on the group name. You can also search for a group in the search box.
  3. Click on the group’s name at the top.
  4. Click ‘Manage administrators’ (‘Add Administrator’ for Supergroup) in the Edit group window.
  5. Click the name of the member to make an admin. You can select more than one members.
  6. Click on ‘Save.’

The selected member will be now a group admin.
